Webb of Life comes to Cedarcrest

Webb of Life came to the Cedarcrest Congregation to do the worship service for us on Sunday, June 15th, 2008. Webb of Life is a musical ministry composed of Community of Christ church members in the Greater Seattle-area. They did a wonderful job and we were touched immensely by there ministry. Following the service we had a potluck which allowed us an opportunity to visit with the members of Webb of Life. Here are some pictures of that day.

Young Adults Take Over Cedarcrest!

On Sunday, June 10th, 2007, Y.A.P.S. came to the Cedarcrest to provide ministry to the Congregation. Y.A.P.S. (a.k.a. Young Adults of the Puget Sound) is a Community of Christ young adult group based in the Greater Seattle Area. Once a quarter they go to a congregation in the GPNW Mission Center to do the Sunday morning worship for that congregation and on the 10th they came to Cedarcrest.

They gave a worship that consisted of testimonies, music that particularly speaks to them, focus moment to demonstrate the theme of “Many Voices, One Community”, scripture readings, etc. Following the service the congregation hosted a b-b-q potluck! A good time was had by all!
